  1. Please choose the type of run (6km or 12 km) carefully, confirmed registrations are non-refundable. You will not have an option to change the Event Category after registration.
  2. Minors under 18 registering for the event accept that they have explicit and full permission from their guardians to participate in the race. Organisers of the race are not liable for minors participating without parental consent or consent of guardians.
  3. Please provide us with a secure email address/phone number that you can access regularly, as this will be our primary means of contacting you during the run up to the Event. Users of email services that offer filtering / blocking of messages from unknown email address should add info@samvarta.org to their “allowed” address list. Participants must also check the spam folder for their registration ticket.
  4. By registering for any of the events, you acknowledge and accept that you are aware that long distance running is an extreme sport and can be injurious to body and health. You take full responsibility for participating in the Ayodhya Marathon and do not hold the Organisers of the Ayodhya Marathon responsible for any injury or accident.
  5. Irrespective of your age and fitness status, it is recommended that you consult your physician and undergo complete medical examination to assess your suitability to participate in the Event.
  6. You agree that Ayodhya Marathon Organising Committee shall not be liable for any loss, damage, illness or injury that might occur as a result of your participation in the Event.
  7. You agree to fully abide by and follow the instructions provided by the Organisers from time to time in the best interest of your health and Event safety.
  8. You agree to dress appropriately for the Event. Inappropriate clothing includes, but not limited to, clothing or gear dangerous to other participants,, carrying messages containing political or religious propaganda, messages that incite violence or hatred or discrimination and advertising an individual name or organisation that the Event Organiser does not acknowledge.
  9. You agree that you will not use the event to promote or communicate by any means political or religious propaganda, incite violence and hated, and advertising an individual name or organisation that the Event Organiser does not acknowledge. This includes all means including but not limited to print, audio, digital forms, or oral spoken word. Organisers have the right to disqualify and remove any participant breaking this rule.
  10. You also agree to stop running if instructed by the Event Organisers or the medical staff or by the aid station volunteers.
  11. You acknowledge and agree that your personal information can be stored and used by Ayodhya Marathon Organisers in connection with the organisation, promotion and administration of the Event and for the compilation of statistical information.
  12. You confirm that, in the event of adverse weather conditions, major incidents or threats on the day, the organisers reserve the right to stop/cancel/postpone the Event. You understand that confirmed registrations and merchandise orders are non- refundable, non-transferable and cannot be modified.
  13. If the number of participants is less than 10 in any given category, the reward amounts in that category for all three positions will be reduced to half.
  14. The judgement of the Organising Committee in deciding winners will be final. Judgement will be based on Gun Time standards.
